Citing her recent embrace of Donald Trump’s birtherism, The Christian Science Monitor wonders whether Sarah Palin and the Donald shouldn’t consider joining forces on the 2012 Republican ticket.

The reality show pairing has a nice ring to it, in the opinion of the Daily Palin. And what with Trump having stolen Palin’s poll thunder, maybe it should be Trump’s name first on the marquee. Then again, we suspect that Palin loyalists won’t go for the apprentice routine in another election, especially to a guy who has never held elected office. But does the attention-grabbing Trump really seem like VP material? 

Palin Poll Crack: Trump Trouncing Sarah in New Hampshire

A new PPP poll of New Hampshire Republicans finds that in the battle of reality television stars Donald Trump trumps Sarah Palin.

In fact, Trump would receive 21 percent of the GOP vote if the election were held today, as compared to the paltry 10 percent who say they’d vote for Palin. Both trail front-runner Mitt Romney, who scored 27 percent in the survey.

The key to Trump’s success?

He does well with birthers and Tea Partiers, two groups he has seemed to actively court with his public comments of late.
